The card is an artwork by Penny Bean titled "Butterfly on Green". The stamp was issued in 2012 by BPost and represents an Old World swallowtail butterfly (Papilio machaon), also known as common yellow swallowtail or simply the swallowtail. Its Latin name "machaon" is after the Physician Machaon, who belongs to the Greek mithology and led an army from Thessaly in the Trojan War on the side of the Greeks.
