Batik Patterns from Indonesia

The Indonesian batik became an UNESCO intangible world heritage in 2009. It is a cloth with traditional patterns and it is dyed with a particular wax-resistant technique. Each region in Indonesia has its own motif and they have been celebrated on a series issued by POS Indonesia in 2011. This card and its stamps give you an idea of the colours and beautiful patterns of this fabric.
