In English it is known with many different names: Cloudberry, Bakeapple, Knotberry or Averin. Its Latin name is more complicated: Rubus chamaemorus. It is native to alpine, arctic tundra and boreal forest. In Finland, in 2005, Posti has issued this 1st class stamp that I have received on a great shaped postcard. Did you know that the same herb is represented on the Finnish 2€ coins?
