Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986) was an American artist, whose works were inspired by precisionism. She is best known for her dramatic and sensual use of color and light in landscapes and cityscapes, and for close-ups of flowers and clouds.On the front of the card you can see her "Pink Roses and Larkspur" (pastel on paper 16x12 in). The stamp (on the right) is part of the series "The Modern Art in America", issued by USPS in April 2013. The O'Keeffe's painting select for the stamp is "Black Mesa Landscape, New Mexico/Out Back of Marie’s II" (1930).
