Hanukkah from the U.S.A.

Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. It is also known as the Festival of Lights and Feast of Dedication and it lasts eight days and eight nights. The two stamps representing the Menorah, the nine-branched candelabrum, were issued by the US Postal Service in 2009. Pictured on the postcard is the stamp issued in 2004 representing a dreidel, a small top with four sides, each with a Hebrew letter which all together stand for "A great miracle happened here".
