The Tyrannosaurus is one of the best known dinosaur species. The meat-eater with the big head and the fearsome pointy teeth could be up to 13 meters long and six tonnes in weight. It is depicted on the front of the card together with an Edmontosaurus. The stamp is part of the series "Für die Jugend" issued in 2008 by Deutsche Post.
