Brown Bear from Finland


There are approximately 200.000 brown bears in the world. Its latin name is Ursus arctos. It's a nocturnal animal and it can gain 180Kg of fat during the Summer to survive the months in Winter. In 2004 Finnish Posti has issued a 2nd Class stamp to celebrate this king of the forest.
