Autumn from Germany

In 2006 DeutschePost issued a series of 4 stamps to celebrate the four seasons. The stamp on this card is the one dedicated to the Autumn, which marks the change from Summer to Winter. Depending on the culture, Autumn can start in August or September and end in November or December in the northern emisphere, while in Australia, for example, it starts officialy on the 1st March and ends on the 31st May. The colour of the foliage during this season is a real explosion of red and yellow shades.
