The postcard represents the Ngajat dance, the traditional dance of Iban, one of the ethnic groups of Malaysia living in Borneo. The origin of the dance is unknown, but it is believed it's been performed by the Iban tribe since the 16th century. The stamp is part of a series of 5, issued by Malaysia Pos in 2009, and it shows the traditional wedding costumes of the Orang Ulu (the "remote people"), ethnic groups living in the region of Sarawak.
