Suvarnbhumi Airport is one of the main airports in Southeast Asia. Its name means "Golden Land" and it was chosen by King Bhumibol Adulyadej. On the card there are pictures of this world's fourth largest single-building airport terminal. The stamp, issued by Thailand Post in 2012 to commemorate the centenary of the Ministry of Transport, shows the free-standing control tower of the airport, which is the world's tallest one with its 132 meters. The stamp is part of a series of four values.
